We are very sad to have to report the death of Chris Henderson on the 22nd of February.

Chris served Bromley H.C. as a Vice President, dedicated umpire and later Bromley Men’s 1st XI manager. He was a well-respected umpire on the Kent & South Circuit, before turning his attention to coaching the next generation of umpires.

More recently Chris was actively involved on the administrative side of the London League.

For those of us who knew Chris, his compassion, passion for hockey and sense of humour will always be remembered.

We send our deepest sympathy and condolences to his wife Maureen, his son Jimmy (ex Bromley 1st XI Captain) and his family at this tough time.

Rest in Peace Chris.
