We are delighted to share information for our Summer Hockey program for junior hockey, after a successful first summer last year. The program commences on Monday 20th April, running through to Thursday 2nd July - we will have a break week during the May half-term 25th May – 29th May.

We are also pleased to announce that Men's 1st XI Coach, and founder of Join The Game Hockey Academy, Juan Gomez, will be running a number of the sessions through the summer too.

All sessions will take place at Langley Park Girls School Astro.

Here is the schedule:

Monday's - Mixed U10 & U12 summer league (Yr4+) - 18:00-19:15 (starts Monday 20th April)
Tuesday's - U14 JG Academy - 18:30-19:45 (starts Tuesday 21st April)
Wednesday's - U16 JG Academy, 18:30-19:45 (starts Wednesday 22nd April)
Thursday's - Open Hockey Night, U12s & U14s, 18:00-19:00 (starts Thursday 23rd April).

The purpose of each session:

U10/U12 Summer league - looking to continue game play for players in the U10 & U12 age groups (kids between school years 4 & 7). This will be done in a league format to guarantee an equal amount of games for all involved.

Open Hockey Nights - Anyone from U12s & U14s is welcome down to these sessions. Led by our amazing coach Harrison King, the sessions look to have a more relaxed learning environment with a good focus on game play!

JG Academy Sessions - Aimed for performance individuals within the area, open to members and non-members of Brombecks. This 10-week summer-term program will have the objective of setting them up for competitions on school, club or county teams, and beyond. The program will consist of Principles Based Trainings, with emphasis on Technical Skills Development and Tactical Approach, within a nurturing environment to maximise player learning.

Costings:
Junior Summer League - £10 a session (Pay as you go)
Open Hockey Night - £8 a session (Pay as you go)
JG Academy Session - £15 a session (or £135 for the block of 10 paid upfront)
