Unbeaten in the Tier 2, London South league, taking top spot, this Cup final match against Ashby, could be the crowning glory for a fantastic season of hockey. With only a few matches in the first half of the season and then lots of disruption with weather and clubs unable to field teams after the Christmas break, it has meant lots of matches played back to back in the final two months. On the up side though, it does mean this squad of boys is as prepared as it can be to take on this Leicestershire club at Nottingham Hockey Centre.

Under coach Ben, the results, the team spirit and the commitment from the boys has been outstanding and they thoroughly deserve to come away on Sunday with a trophy. The club, the parents and supporters are all behind them and look forward to a great match.
